I don’t care how old they are. It’s the Rolling Stones. They’ve been together how long? Like 50+ years. It’s Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, and Keith Richards.
As long as they’re touring, I’m going. And after seeing them in Denver, I had to go again – especially after my buddy called me with great tickets. Bonus was Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real opened with Lucius. Two bands I love.
Got some decent pics and vids. But it’s the Stones. Which means, a bunch of fans who don’t go to a lot of concerts. So the iPhone thing was…sucked. And the camera man was right in front of me, so I couldn’t get a good picture of Charlie. Oh well, he’s in my memory.
Phish is off the charts, they’re playing so good right now. But nobody has the moves, or plays a better Harp, than Mick Jagger. Ronnie Wood can still play the guitar. I’m a big fan of Ronnie. He’s super cool and super kind. Keith was a little slow, but Charlie was rock solid. Darryl Jones sounded great, as did the musicians and singers, most of whom have been with the Stones for years.
Nobody is cooler than the Rolling Stones. They wrote the book.
It’s the Beatles and the Stones.
In all the times I’ve seen them, never been this close. Many thanks, Louie!
