I was in Denver a couple weeks ago, saw this sign driving up Broadway and immediately pulled over to take a picture:
How many businesses operate this way? Most don’t. Most businesses have it wrong. To them, it’s about them — not the customer. Tech businesses are famous for this type of attitude. Most tech companies don’t answer the phone — they don’t even have a phone number. Ever try calling Facebook or Google?
If and when you can get a hold of them, it’s always on their terms — email. And then you’re most likely dealing with a robot type “customer service rep” who’s really not about service — they’re about defending the companies practices. It’s bs and people everywhere should be avoiding this business profile like the plague. But instead, people put up with poor service. Then poor service creates more poor service. By supporting this type of business, customers are actually creating yet more — lousy businesses.
So a big hug and a big “Hoo Rah”, to Broadway Tile. I know I’ve always operated this way. Broadway Tile gets it and it’s probably the big reason why they’ve been able to stay in business for as long as they have.
If you’re near Denver, next time you need some tile, go see Broadway Tile. I bet you’ll be glad you did.
