My buddy James just sent me this. I love it. It’s sounds like Marvin Gaye to me:

Whitney Houston, god bless her soul, was one powerful singer. Man, she was talented. So I downloaded “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”, “Greatest Love Of All”, “One Moment In Time”, “Saving All My Love For You”, “The Star Spangled Banner” and of course “I Will Always Love You” off of iTunes. Great songs. What a great talent, gone. Sad.
Fleetwood Mac, Mystery To Me
Fleetwood Mac, Bare Trees
Fleetwood Mac, Heroes Are Hard To Find
Classic albums. Bob Welch, I think, had more to do with the bands success as anyone.
Curtis Mayfield, Superfly soundtrack
Great car music.
Dum Dum Girls, Only In Dreams
I loved the GoGo’s. I’m also a big fan of Joan Jett, Deborah Harry and Chrissie Hynde. If you like rock girl bands, check out the Dum Dum Girls.
Stephanie Davis, River Of No Return
I found Stephanie from listening to A Prairie Home Companion. She’s from Montana, where my mother is from. She’s a great singer songwriter.
Loretta Lynn, Van Lear Rose
The Queen of country is still going strong.
The Concert For Bangladesh
I miss George.
Amy Winehouse
Another one gone. I bought this out of feeling sad for her. But I’ve come to enjoy her work.
