Today we got our first milk and cream from Sustainable Settings’s Cow Share Program.
We’re really excited about it.
How can we buy unpasteurized milk you ask? Easy. How it works is that we buy into a cow (or cows) that Sustainable Settings raises. The cow is raised on their property, by them — in soil we trust. They don’t use any chemicals or pesticides, they’re practices are “beyond organic”. So we know exactly what we’re putting into our bodies.
But it’s not just milk and cream. We’re going to start buying our meat and vegetables from Brook and Rose, too.
This is the future for our food. I want to know where my food is coming from, you should too. Because it’s the food we eat that’s killing us and the cause of health insurance that we can’t afford. I’ll pay more to do so. Because paying more for milk, meat and vegetables that’s beyond organic, is worth it in the long run.
You can do this too. It’s not as hard as you think. Contact me if you want to know more, I’ll help.
